About The Position

In this role you will provide analytical support to the North America Clean Air Finance Organization, reporting to the Commercial Finance Director. Perform ad-hoc analysis; prepare monthly/quarterly internal/external reporting packages, consolidate financial reporting, support financial systems updated/maintenance. Must have the ability to perform accurate, timely financial analysis and provide recommendations. Contribute to the strategic and annual operating plans.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Solid project management, financial analysis, and communication skills
Excellent PC skills – Experience with SAP, OneStream, and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel)

Ability to conduct research and provide effective recommendations
Limited travel may be required

Responsibilities

Support Clean Air month-end close process by reviewing financial data, perform analysis and preparing journal entries.
Support Corporate Data Request for America Region IceCo
Ensure financial reports accurately reflect financial performance in accordance with GAAP and Tenneco’s policies.
Work with commercial group to establish customer profitability and sales reviews
Manage fixed asset capitalizations, order creation/maintenance and depreciation.
Coordinate with warranty team to understand month-end impacts and establish accruals, as necessary.
Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects as requested by leadership team.
Support the business planning processes (strategic plan, annual operating plan and monthly forecasts).
Engages with BU leaders, plant controller, commercial group and finance team in all aspects of financial and operations reporting.
Actively participate in the implementation of financial systems, tools, procedure/policies.
Review Balance Sheet, prepare reconciliations, and ensure internal audit processes and controls are operating effectively.
