About The Position

As a Snowflake Developer you will make an impact by designing and implementing data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Python, and Snowflake technologies. You will be a valued member of the Manufacturing & Logistics team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and transformation processes.

Requirements

• Experience with Snowflake writing procedures, functions, UDFs, and window functions
• Strong experience in Java or Python with data engineering APIs such as Spark
• Understanding of cloud concepts
• Experience with AWS Lambda, EC2, Glue, S3, and general understanding of other services
• Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid environments
• Experience with AWS Cloud Formations and AWS Tools for VSTS
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Proficiency in using Git for version control
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field

Nice To Haves

• Azure or AWS Cloud Certifications
• Experience with the Manufacturing Supply Chain
• Self-driven and able to drive projects to delivery

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and efficient data storage solutions using Snowflake
• Design and code using Java, Python, and Data Engineering APIs such as Spark and Pandas
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries within the Snowflake environment
• Develop and update CICD scripts with respect to Java, Python, and Snowflake
• Integrate Snowflake with various data sources and third-party tools
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards
• Work with Product Owners to understand the business process and translate them to technical requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet data-driven business objectives
• Mentor junior resources and share knowledge
• Stay updated with the latest Snowflake features and best practices
