The Data Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable solutions that support both user applications and business analytics. As a Data Engineer with Unify Consulting, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a talented team of professionals. We are unable to sponsor or transfer visas for this position. You must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring sponsorship or visa transfer now or in the future. Local residency requirement: Candidates must currently reside in the Seattle area to be considered for this role. We are unable to sponsor relocation or review applications from individuals outside the region.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of consulting experience
  • 5+ years' experience in a data engineering role.
  • Professional experience with Snowflake
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Professional experience programming with Python.
  • Basic understanding of distributed systems and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Able to work independently and as part of an agile team in a larger corporate environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to relay information between technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and processes to support data warehouses and lakehouses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Maintain best practices for data governance, data quality, and data security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Implement and maintain security practices for sensitive data.
