Kforce has a client in need of a Snowflake Data Architect in Richmond, VA. The Snowflake Data Architect will architect, develop, and optimize data warehouse solutions in Snowflake for large-scale enterprise applications. This role involves designing and implementing dimensional and relational data models, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and maintainability. The architect will also define best practices for schema design, partitioning, clustering, and indexing in Snowflake, and develop ETL/ELT pipelines in collaboration with data engineers to streamline data ingestion and transformation processes. Additionally, the Snowflake Data Architect will implement data cataloging solutions to enhance metadata documentation and lineage tracking, and define data governance policies, including data security, access controls, and compliance.
