About The Position

Requirements

• Familiarity with Snowflake tools such as Query Profile, Time Travel, and Task/Stream Optimization.
• Experience with SQL and Snowflake administration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake's cloud-based data platform.
• Analyze and solve performance bottlenecks in Snowflake, including queries, workloads, and database configurations.
• Optimize SQL queries, table designs, and schema structures to improve performance.
• Implement and refine clustering keys, materialized views, and result caching for efficient data access.
• Monitor and tune virtual warehouses, workload management, and resource usage for optimal cost and performance.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of queries, data pipelines, and database structures.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive user documentation for data workflows and solutions.
• Work with multi-functional teams to integrate Snowflake with various data sources and tools.
• Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines demonstrating Databricks for data processing and transformation.
• Create and optimize data models in DBT to support analytics and reporting requirements.
