Seasonal Employment Offer – Snow Zone Supervisor Position Details Employment Type: Seasonal (On-call, weather-dependent) Your duties will include but are not limited to: Operations Execution Oversee all snow removal and de-icing activities on assigned routes, properties, and service areas. Deploy crews, equipment, and materials based on the operational plan for each storm. Ensure plowing, salting, sidewalk clearing, and all service tasks are completed to company standards. Adjust plans in real time when conditions change, equipment fails or staffing needs shift. Complete all required service documentation during and after each event using apps and technology platforms. Crew Leadership & Coordination Direct and supervise a team of equipment operators, plow/salt truck drivers, and sidewalk crews assigned to their locations. Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure all team members understand their responsibilities. Provide coaching, training, and corrective feedback in the field as needed. Coordinate with subcontractors when assigned, ensuring alignment with Acacia standards. Communicate manpower needs, shortages, or shifts to operations leadership promptly. Equipment & Material Management Ensure all equipment (plow trucks, loaders, skid steers, spreaders) is fueled, loaded, staged, and ready before each event. Monitor equipment performance and assist with basic troubleshooting when required. Oversee proper handling, loading, and application of bulk salt, brine, and other de-icing materials. Track and document material usage accurately for each property. Quality Control & Safety Conduct pre-event site checks when directed and post-event inspections to verify service quality. Ensure all work meets contract specifications and safety standards. Identify hazards, obstacles, and site-specific concerns that could impact operations. Enforce all safety protocols with crew members, including PPE usage and equipment safety. Communication & Reporting Maintain clear, consistent communication with Acacia leadership before, during, and after events. Provide updates on progress, issues, delays, or equipment failures in real time. Document work completion using the required technology applications. Report any customer concerns, incidents, or potential liability issues immediately. Storm Readiness & Continuous Improvement Prepare routes, equipment, and crews in advance of upcoming weather events. Participate in debriefs following major storms to identify improvements for future operations. Recommend staffing, equipment, or process enhancements based on field observations. Work Schedule: Snow Removal is 24/7, as needed. You will be required to work for the entire duration of a snow event which could exceed 30 hours.
