About The Position

Requirements

• Previous experience in snow removal or outdoor maintenance preferred
• Ability to operate snow removal equipment safely and efficiently
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor in cold weather conditions
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to outdoor maintenance and equipment operation
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or during emergency snow events as needed

Responsibilities

• Operate snow removal equipment such as plows, shovels, and salt spreaders to clear snow and ice from driveways, walkways, parking lots, and other outdoor areas
• Monitor weather conditions to anticipate snow accumulation and plan timely removal efforts
• Apply salt, sand, or other de-icing materials to prevent ice formation and ensure safety
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and perform basic maintenance or report repairs needed
• Ensure all work areas are safe and compliant with safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding work progress and any safety concerns
