About The Position

Are you looking for part-time supplemental income, working for a fun, growing company this winter? We are seeking Part Time Snow Removal Laborers for work in the Harrisburg and York areas. This is an on-call position. Applicants must have open availability during winter events. This includes weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays, etc. All of our accounts are 24/7/365 facilities. Successful applicants will work outdoors in all types of weather conditions and exposure to elements, while maintaining a clean and safe job site to ensure current landscape and property is not damaged in the efforts of removing snow. This can include heavy to moderate noise, extreme proximity to moving equipment or machinery, and exposure to tools and machines used in construction. Candidates report directly to the job site – reliable transportation to the job sites is required.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to work independently and work well with a team.
• Tolerance for labor-intensive work in extreme weather conditions.
• Available for seasonal long hours, with a clear schedule to work all hours of the day, any day of the week.
• Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Report to the job site on time.
• Clear snow & ice safely and efficiently from customer sites using shovels, snowblowers, salt spreaders, and applying de-icers.
• Pile snow in designated and approved locations only.
• Work in areas including loading areas, docks, sidewalks, and parking lots.
• Perform labor-intensive work outdoors in various winter conditions, including snow, mix of snow/rain, sleet, extreme weather conditions, and low temperatures.

Benefits

• Pay is $25-$35/hr.
