Snow Plow Operator
About The Position
Job Summary: Brundage Mountain Resort is seeking on-call snowplow operators for our on-mountain parking lots and roadways. Snow removal typically takes place from 2 am – noon, leaving plenty of time to go make some turns after your shift! This is the ideal job for those with a flexible schedule to work hard when it snows hard and relax on groomer days. Work will span November- April Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Clean ice and snow from equipment and complete equipment inspections Plow and move snow in a safe and efficient manner with various types of machinery; such as Loaders, Plow Trucks, etc. Assess conditions and needs for plowing, sanding or other snow maintenance Follow written and oral directions from supervisor/manager Constant awareness to conditions and surroundings, ensuring no property damage occurs Communicate regularly with other team members on changing snow conditions
Requirements
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 20 years old with a clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Must be available to work flexible hours including graveyard/early mornings, holidays and weekends
- Should enjoy being outdoors and able to work in winter conditions
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating front end loaders, backhoes, skid steers and other heavy equipment preferred, will train for necessary skills
