About The Position

A snack bar supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of a snack bar , which includes supervising staff, creating work schedules, overseeing food preparation and service, managing inventory, and handling cash. They are also responsible for ensuring food safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction, and may assist with ordering supplies and maintaining financial records.

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience in food service, especially in a fast-paced environment, and often includes supervisory experience.
  • Leadership: Ability to supervise and motivate a team.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills for interacting with staff and customers.
  • Physical stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Staff management: training, scheduling, and supervising snack bar employees.
  • Operational oversight: Ensuring all staff and operations run smoothly, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness.
  • Inventory and ordering: Monitoring stock levels, placing orders for supplies, and checking deliveries.
  • Financial management: Managing the cash drawer, handling money, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Customer service: Addressing customer complaints and ensuring a positive experience for patrons.
