About The Position

The Tennis Snack Shop Attendant is someone who is able to work on a day by day basis attending to the needs of the Roy Barth Tennis Center Operation, whether that be primarily serving drinks and light food at the Courtside Café, or in the Pro Shop attending to Retail needs or purchases.

Requirements

• Minimum Education – High School degree or equivalent.
• Must have an outgoing and pleasant personality and enjoy working with people.
• Experience with computers and cash registers is preferred.
• Well organized and self-motivated.
• Must work both independently and in a team environment.
• Good to excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and make them feel welcome and by assisting throughout their time at the courts.
• Take reservations for courts, programs and scheduled activities in person and on the phone.
• Make sales transactions using the point of sale systems.
• Properly greet and speak with guests as they enter the shop and offer assistance.
• Engage customers in conversation when possible.
• Tag and price merchandise when necessary.
• Check inventory of towels, retail balls, register change, and merchandise on hand daily.
• Be familiar with the merchandise in stock and help answer questions concerning our inventory.
• Learn opening and closing shop procedures.
• Complete daily business reports and daily tracking sheets.
• Properly rotate all food and drink products in stock.
• Efficiently and accurately serve drinks and light food items as they are ordered by guests.
• Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations and resort requirements.
• Keep a clean, neat, and organized work environment.
• Assist with quarterly inventory.
• Contribute to the growth and success of the team.
• Upholds the core values and policies & procedures of the resort.
• All other duties as assigned.
