About The Position

SMT Operators handle equipment used to develop circuits with surface mount technology (components are mounted directly on circuit boards). Small scale assembly of internal components and wirings. Inspection of products. Will involve the use of computers regularly. Perform the hand place process of SMT components according to customer specifications. Execute the inspection of electrical assemblies to assure that they fulfill the specifications of quality policy and industry standards.

Requirements

• SMT experience preferred but not required
• Good eye-hand coordination
• The ability to perform repetitive actions
• Computer Competences
• The ability to stand for 8+ hours a day
• All candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and be willing to submit to a national background check.

Responsibilities

• Execute the hand placement and verification of the components with the support of the BOM to guarantee the acceptable quality standards
• Interpret datasheets, assembly documentation to determine polarity information
• Preform pre-reflow and post-reflow inspections on SMT Components according to the BOM, and assembly documentation.
• Report all part errors, discrepancies, and questions into the database
