More about us: https://www.hach.com/about-us The Operator II is responsible for manufacturing quality product according to the work order or other build signal while adhering to defined work instructions. General duties may include picking, assembling, and packaging. Machine set-up and equipment operation may be required. This position is part of the Surface Mounted Technology (SMT) department located in Loveland, CO and will be working onsite 100% of the time.

Requirements

  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures with a moderate amount of supervision
  • Has developed skills through formal training or considerable work experience
  • Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval; evaluates and selects solutions from established options

Responsibilities

  • Maintain quality of products produced according to department standards and visual or dimensional specifications.
  • Record and maintain quality or traceability information.
  • Record and maintain Cell Boards and other visual management tools
  • Maintain equipment according to work instructions or preventive maintenance tasks; some troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Suggest improvements and support kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
  • Accurately perform required computer data entry and work order transactions (LOTS, scrap, Oracle, ARIBA, kanban, DRP, etc.).
  • May be responsible for handling of and accurate disposal of chemical and non-chemical waste, some of which is hazardous and regulated.
  • Assist in design, implementation and problem solving of new equipment and products.
