Job Purpose: Sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company's product. Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks. Checks and inspects operation against predetermined tolerances.

Requirements

Must have 2 - 4 years of experience in running SMT equipment.
This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.

Responsibilities

Must be familiar with Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) electronic components and SMT assembly process. Know the different package types of electronic components.
Must be able to set-up and operate automated SMT assembly equipment including Screen Printer, Pick and Place Machine, and Reflow Oven
Must be able to properly maintain SMT equipment.
Able to interpret IPC 610 standards for acceptability and customer specifications.
Become IPC Certified.
Responsible for quality of product produced on the SMT line (correct parts, polarity, etc)
Must be familiar with and able to use hand tools, screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, etc.
Shall maintain a neat appearance of work area to 5S standards.
Shall practice safe work habits and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
Train co-workers and assist when problems arise.
Willing to work overtime as needed.
