About The Position

The Team Captain at Smoothie King plays a crucial role in leading the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences while promoting health and wellness through nutritious smoothies. Requirements

• At least 16 years old.
• Food service experience preferred but not required.
• Commission sales experience helpful.
• Ability to think outside the box to satisfy guests.
• Genuine care and understanding for people's needs.
• Prior retail sales experience in the Nutrition/Fitness industry is a plus!
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, both orally and in writing.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time (6 to 8 hours).
• Must be able to lift and/or move items up to 55 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the Nutrition/Fitness industry.
• Knowledge of general POS functionality.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to give and receive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in overall store operations in a leadership capacity.
• Ensure a superior guest experience and maximize sales performance.
• Drive profitability while maintaining a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
• Complete store opening and closing procedures.
• Make bank deposits and reconcile daily cash drops.
• Assist the General Manager with product ordering.
• Communicate and execute a positive brand impression to enhance the guest experience.
• Ensure consistency and high-quality preparation of smoothies and guest service.
• Enforce sanitary practices for food handling and maintain cleanliness in all areas.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards and company policies.
