About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious General Manager to join our rapidly expanding Smoothie King franchise in Austin—the fastest growing in the area. With 3 successful locations already operating and an exciting plan to add 10 more over the next 4 years, this role offers a unique opportunity to lead from the front in a high-growth environment.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma is required. An associate or bachelor's degree in business, hospitality management, or a similar field is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a manager or supervisor of a team in a restaurant or similar retail customer service business.
  • New store opening experience highly preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills - you are energized by working with people, both guests and your team.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Store Manager for our new fourth location opening in July, overseeing everything from initial setup and staff hiring to daily operations and customer service excellence.
  • Play a critical role in scaling operations as our franchise grows, contributing insights and strategies to support our expansion plans.
  • Collaborate with franchise leadership to streamline processes, implement best practices, and maintain brand standards across multiple locations.
  • Drive operational performance and profitability through effective management, team development, and by meeting or exceeding performance benchmarks.
  • Enthusiastically hire, develop, and lead the team at your store to provide a great guest experience and fulfill our mission to inspire people to live a healthy and active lifestyle.
  • Use operational tools such as Profit and Loss Statement, Daily Business Review, Cash & Deposit Log, and Data Central scheduling and inventory management tools to achieve operational excellence.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers (inventory management, shipments, etc.).
  • Review store environment and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement and adjust accordingly.
  • Manage cash activities for the store (daily deposits, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines in your store at all times; ensure all Team Members are in compliance as well.
  • Own and promote brand standards in alignment with company vision.
  • Ensure store appearance and cleanliness are upheld and consistent with Smoothie King brand standards.
  • Drive implementation of company programs through action planning and inspiring team to meet operational standards.
  • Develop local store marketing plans to support brand initiatives, including initiating community outreach through marketing and special events.
  • Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments by using existing tools and programs as well as finding new, creative and effective methods of recognition.
  • Collaborate with Smoothie King professionals from Operations, Training, Human Resources, and Marketing to deliver the best smoothies and healthy retail products to your community.
