About The Position

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing construction documents, submittals, field installations, and geotechnical‑related activities across a wide range of construction projects. You will provide written recommendations to improve or correct installations while ensuring alignment with contract requirements and industry best practices. Your Responsibilities will Include: Review construction drawings and specifications for geotechnical and civil scopes, ensuring alignment with the RFP and contract documents; provide recommendations to support proper installation and ground engineering quality. Evaluate geotechnical submittals for compliance, including testing data, soil reports, foundation details, and earthwork procedures. Attend or lead preparatory meetings for geotechnical scopes and prepare agendas and meeting minutes. Verify materials, soils, geosynthetics, equipment, and testing resources prior to installation to ensure conformity with contract requirements and approved submittals. Assist in procuring third‑party geotechnical/CMT testing agencies for field and laboratory testing needs. Coordinate or lead initial and follow‑up geotechnical observations with the Quality Coordinator, project management team, and design partners. Confirm that corrective actions are completed for deficiencies identified during document reviews, submittal reviews, field observations, and testing. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (required). Minimum Engineer Intern (EI) license required. 5–8 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or related field. To Thrive in This Role, You Will need: Deep understanding of soil mechanics. Effective at organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks; detail‑oriented with strong follow‑through. Proficient with laptops, tablets, and mobile devices for document access and field reporting. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experienced with project management systems and construction technology tools. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (required).
