About The Position

CPMG is a leader in cutting-edge research and technology in the cyber arena, focusing on using business drivers to guide cybersecurity activities and manage risk. The company offers flexible, integrative solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) contractors and specializes in cybersecurity, information and operational technology, electronic security surveillance, and support services. The Contractor will serve as the B-2 SPO Lead Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), with responsibilities spanning both Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, and Tinker AFB, OK.

Requirements

  • Must have verifiable expertise in defining, implementing and sustaining SAP cybersecurity practices and procedures for SAP facilities.
  • Verifiable expertise in products and systems utilized by the B-2 SPO and are familiar with the Air Force Instructions, JSIG-series regulations or equivalent.
  • Shall hold professional and approved U.S. Department of War Directive 8140.01 certifications related to information security as required and appropriate per the duty position (ex. Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA Security+).
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience.
  • Must have a TOP SECRET security clearance.
  • Individual in this position must be U.S. citizens.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, implement, and maintain cybersecurity standard operating procedures (SOPs) as required to support B-2 SPO SAPF(s).
  • Perform reoccurring tasks necessary to support the continuous monitoring and incident response of enterprise level systems.
  • Work with the B-2 Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and assigned system Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to identify and resolve any computer and information system security issues, such as suspicious patterns, unauthorized access and policy violations.
  • Provide information security support and auditing as defined in regulations, instructions, and policies applicable for both classified and unclassified systems as needed.
  • Assist the ISSMs in meeting their duties and responsibilities.
  • Implement and enforce all Department of War (DoW) Information Security (IS) and Platform Information Technology (PIT) system cybersecurity policies and procedures, as defined by cybersecurity-related documentation.
  • Ensure that all users have the requisite security clearances and access authorization, and are aware of their cybersecurity responsibilities for DoW IS and PIT systems under their purview before being granted access to those systems.
  • Ensure that all DoW IS cybersecurity-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals.
  • Ensures the integration of cybersecurity into, and throughout the lifecycle of the IT, on behalf of the AO and in accordance with DoDI 8510.01.
  • Completes and maintains required cybersecurity certification IAW AFMAN 17-1303.
  • Ensures all AF IT cybersecurity-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals.
  • Supports the PM or ISO in maintaining current authorization to operate, and approval to connect (if required), and in implementing corrective actions identified in the plan of action and milestones.
  • Coordinates, with the PM and AO staff, the development of an ISCM strategy and monitor any proposed or actual changes to the system and its environment.
  • Continuously monitors the IT and environment for security-relevant events, assess proposed configuration changes for potential impact to the cybersecurity posture, and assess the quality of security controls implementation against performance indicators.
  • Ensures cybersecurity-related events or configuration changes that impact AF IT authorization or adversely impact the security posture are formally reported to the AO and other affected parties, such as IOs and stewards and AOs of interconnected IT.
  • Appoints IS Security Officers (ISSOs), alternate ISSM(s) and provides oversight to ensure they follow established cybersecurity policies and procedures IAW DoDI 8500.01.
  • Ensures all appointees and privileged users receive necessary technical training and obtain cybersecurity certification IAW AFMAN 17-1301.
  • Ensures the AF IT is acquired, documented, operated, used, maintained, and disposed of properly and IAW DoDI 5000.02 and DoDI 8510.01.
  • Provide Assured Compliance Point of Presence.
  • Provide connectivity to monitor critical components and receive software updates from manufacturers as required by system administrators.
