About The Position

In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to: produce and test the SMC material that is used to make fiberglass skins. Key Responsibilities: Data Entry: collecting data, triple shaft inputs, sheet weight, and moisture levels Receive Bulk Materials: confirming part numbers, correct transfer line hook up, and weight Chart Data: including all viscosities, triple shaft inputs, sheet weight, and maturation room temp/humidity React to Out of Control Production Issues: Per SMC Line Control Plan Perform preventative maintenance work in compliance with OAM and Ivara Certifications: E21 certification Forklift certification Crane certification Hazardous Waste certification Operate floor scrubber Obtain samples for quality testing Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence.
  • E21 certification
  • Forklift certification
  • Crane certification
  • Hazardous Waste certification

Nice To Haves

  • six months to one year related experience preferred.
