The Senior Manager of Marketing for Smartwool and icebreaker in the Americas is a pivotal role that reports directly to the North America Regional General Manager and is a key member of the AMER Leadership Team. This position is responsible for leading a team of marketing professionals to execute comprehensive marketing initiatives across both brands within the Americas. The Senior Manager will interface with global brand marketing teams, manage the regional marketing budget, and develop strategies to achieve brand marketing objectives across direct-to-consumer (DTC) and wholesale channels. The role emphasizes continuous improvement in brand health scores, consumer acquisition, and brand awareness across all consumer touchpoints. The Senior Manager will lead performance media efforts in collaboration with the eCommerce team to meet revenue goals. Close partnerships with global brand marketing teams are essential to ensure alignment of owned and earned media channels with global priorities and regional commercial needs. The position also requires collaboration with community, eCommerce, and brand creative teams to ensure an integrated brand story and marketing plans across various platforms including product, community, website, retail, and performance marketing. Additionally, the Senior Manager will oversee the development and execution of the Wholesale Marketing Strategy, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy and managing the marketing materials and actions that support this strategy. The role includes setting and managing the Go-To-Market (GTM) process, collaborating with product and sales departments, and leading the legal approval and creative development processes for new product names. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for developing thematic ideas for sales meetings and ensuring that product launches and brand initiatives are well-supported across all channels. This position requires a strong focus on team management, budget oversight, and the ability to drive innovative marketing strategies while fostering a collaborative work environment. The Senior Manager will also monitor retail, media, and competitive trends to inform marketing strategies and ensure that the marketing team is responsive to the real-time needs of the business.
