As a Smart Energy Engineer Apprentice at OVO, you will be working in the field, helping customers achieve Zero Carbon Living. This role allows you to learn and train on the job, becoming a qualified Smart Meter Engineer while engaging with customers directly. The apprenticeship lasts for a minimum of one year, during which you will gain recognized transferable skills and qualifications. You will spend the initial 20 weeks in training, half of which will be at a training academy, learning to install smart, gas, and electric meters, and providing energy efficiency advice. After training, you will work alongside an experienced OVO Engineer to gain practical experience in the field.
