Our Electrical Products business unit in Smart Infrastructure develops low and medium-voltage technology and solutions for power systems. We are looking for undergraduate students to join our 12-week Operations Leadership Development Program summer internship (May 18 - August 7) with our Smart Infrastructure Electrical Products division. This internship will prepare you for a potential opportunity with our full-time two-year rotational Operations Leadership Development Program and other entry-level roles. This position will be based at our Fort Worth, TX; Grand Prairie, TX; Hingham MA; Roebuck, SC, Broken Arrow, OK; or Pomona, CA locations.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in: Industrial/Industrial Systems Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related majors (must be enrolled as a student at the time of the internship).
  • Available to work 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday) from May 18 to August 7, 2026.
  • Must be willing and able to relocate for the summer (housing stipend and mileage reimbursement are provided if required to relocate more than 50 miles from your permanent residence).
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Participating in hands-on assignments where you will tackle real-world manufacturing challenges, enhance plant productivity, improve operations, drive efficiency and sustainability, and fuel the growth of our business and strategic partnerships with vendors and customers.
  • Analyzing production processes, developing and implementing process improvements using LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies, project management, and quality assurance.
  • Material planning, purchasing and procurement, resource planning, and logistics.
