We are making a positive impact and we want you to be a part of it! www.lgeshonda.com Summary: The Equipment Manufacturing Specialist (Smart Factory) will help with managing and tracking expansion projects, using big data to apply new technologies (including Artificial Intelligence and Factory Automation) in the expansion building, and reviewing specifications, drawings, and manuals of the new designs with the goal of building the new “smart factory.” In addition, the position will work with other teams and vendors to manage and follow up projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field or relevant work experience in a related area.
  • 0-3+ years of experience in an automated engineering or data science
  • Proficient in Excel and application of statistical knowledge
  • Critical thinking and passion to learn advanced technology
  • Have strong accountability and self-motivation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Korean bilingual skill is a plus, but not required
  • Experience in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or other design programs is a plus
  • Experience in the battery manufacturing process is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and manage expansion designs and projects of the assigned battery processes.
  • Work with engineers and other teams to test and validate the installation and performance of the newly applied system
  • Improve efficiency and process capability of the expansion building through applying automated systems
  • Review specifications, detailed drawings, and technical manuals of new designs
  • Interact with vendors and other teams to follow up the timeline of the projects
  • Perform risk and safety analysis of the new items
