Join our Siemens Smart Buildings Internship Program as a Building Automation Service Sales Intern in Summer 2026! This position will be based out of our San Francisco area branch located in Fremont, California.

  • Work alongside Sales Managers and Sales Executives within the local branch office.
  • Assist the sales team with lead generation, prospecting, and account outreach.
  • Support the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
  • Help manage CRM data by tracking leads and maintaining data accuracy.
  • Shadow sales calls and meetings to learn effective sales techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, other business units, departments, etc.) to support customer engagement.
  • Analyze sales performance data and provide insights into driving growth.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute creative ideas for improving sales processes.
  • Participate in sales related activities (learning how to prospect, go-to-market, build B2B relationships, on-the-job training and shadowing, etc.)
  • Rotate through our core business segments, which include Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, Security and Energy/Sustainability Systems.
  • Must be current enrollment as an undergraduate at an accredited 4-year U.S. college or university.
  • Pursing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Energy/Sustainability, Built Environment, Construction Management or Business Administration, Sales/Marketing with a strong technical engineering aptitude.
  • Earliest Graduation Date: August 2027.
  • Ability to work 40-hours per week for the 10-week program (May - July or June - August).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company or school sponsorship.
  • Participation in a school sponsored sales engineering club/organization.
  • Pursuing a professional sales certificate or similar.
  • The hourly pay range for this position is $24 - $28 per hour, based off of your projected graduation year.
