About The Position

DLF USA Inc. is seeking a Small Truck Driver to safely transport materials between our facilities and subcontractor locations. This role is essential to keeping our logistics operations efficient, accurate, and timely while representing the company professionally on the road and at delivery sites. About the Role As a Small Truck Driver, you’ll perform daily deliveries and pick-ups, ensure loads are secure, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate effectively with warehouse and logistics teams. You’ll also have opportunities to operate forklifts, assist with loading and unloading, and occasionally run local errands using company vehicles. This is a hands-on role that combines driving, material handling, and coordination across teams.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • 1+ years of similar experience in increasingly responsible roles.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Valid certification to operate forklifts.
  • Valid DOT medical card or be able to obtain one.
  • Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
  • Strong verbal, written, listening and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, prioritization skills and follow-up skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and follow established schedules and procedures.
  • Ability to make calculations.
  • Dependable, with a strong commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work overtime hours as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a non-commercial delivery truck to complete scheduled pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Conduct daily pre-trip safety inspections and report maintenance or safety issues to the Transportation Specialist.
  • Secure loads properly using straps, tie-downs, and other approved safety equipment.
  • Verify load accuracy before transport, confirming lot numbers, quantities, and packaging types.
  • Follow Combined Transfer Orders (CTOs) and maintain accurate delivery and completion records.
  • Coordinate pick-up and delivery times with warehouse personnel, allowing adequate preparation time.
  • File completed CTOs with the appropriate personnel in an organized and timely manner.
  • Communicate route changes, delays, or delivery issues promptly to the Transportation Specialist.
  • Operate a forklift when required to load or unload materials.
  • Perform additional driving or errand duties using company vehicles as assigned.
  • Maintain familiarity with all DLF and subcontractor facility locations.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by manager.
