About The Position

Job Description: •             Maintain a safe and clean work area •             Able to conduct hands on training for new employees •             Perform daily operator preventive maintenance on the machine. •             Setup and change tooling as required. •             Proficiently complete all production and quality documentation, CRN, ASME, etc. •             Maintain acceptable production rates within the skill level, by meeting or exceeding efficiency goals. •             Perform quality checks to ensure materials, parts and workmanship are compliant with engineering requirements and production expectations •             Make sure that all pipe is deburred and edge treatment applied if necessary (ZRC) •             Contribute to Lean and 5s Implemented in your areas. •             Must be a self-starter that can work without supervision. •             Demonstrate superior service skill(s) and professionalism in day-to-day dealings with coworkers, setting a good example in attendance and work ethics. •             Willingness to learn    •             Continually demonstrates good attendance practices, minimizing unplanned absences •             Ensures adherence to company policies and work rules, as well as ensuring a safe work environment is maintained •             Maintain a cheerful and positive attitude •             Strive to continually improve quality, safety, organization, cleanliness and productivity within your department. •             Able to understand and follow all MAP’s, PAP’s, CRN, B31.5, ASME, TMI’s, TPI’s, and SOP’s that pertain to the product •             Proficiently complete all documents pertaining to the process •             Safe operation of all overhead lifting cranes and jib booms (if required) •             Assist in other areas of the shop when required

Requirements

  • Basic shop math (i.e. add/subtract/divide/multiply, whole numbers and fractions)
  • Read a tape measure to within 1/16”
  • Must be proficient at using all hand tools
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to read and understand all engineering prints related to the process
  • Able to trouble shoot and solve problems related to the process
