About The Position

This position is responsible for the efficient production of small assembled items while supporting multiple work areas through cross-training. The role requires learning various tasks across the department, rotating as needed, and maintaining high quality, accuracy, and productivity in all assigned assembly processes.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 40- 50 pounds regularly
Comfortable with standing, bending, and physical labor for extended periods.
Willingness to learn machine operation and other millwork tasks.
Ability to work in a noisy, dusty environment.
Team-oriented and reliable.

Responsibilities

Work to maximize productivity & efficiency in department
Work to create & maintain a cooperative team environment
Be proficient and cross-train in all areas of production
Maintain commitment to product quality and workplace safety
Inspect and audit production parts, ability to provide correctional procedures when necessary
Participate in relative problem solving and continuous improvement activities
Organize daily assignments and keep work area clean & clear of clutter
Follow lean manufacturing principles
Assist in other production related activities as required
