About The Position

As a Small-Medium Enterprise Business Developer in the career transition services industry, your mission will be to drive 100% outbound sales efforts to help organizations support their transitioning employees. You will engage HR Leaders and Business Owners, positioning LHH’s career transition solutions as strategic investments in workforce resilience. You will prospect new clients, build lasting relationships, and leverage innovative sales technology to manage the full sales cycle—from initial outreach to contract negotiation. This role is ideal for a high-performing sales professional driven to meet or exceed annual revenue targets, strong technical fluency in sales tools, and a passion for growth, innovation, and client impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, ideally selling to HR, Talent Acquisition, or People Operations leaders.
  • Proven track record in outbound sales and new business development.
  • Experience in workforce solutions, HR tech, or professional services preferred.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and sales automation tools (e.g., Outreach, SalesForce, Seismic).
  • Skilled in using data enrichment tools (e.g., ZoomInfo) and conversation intelligence platforms (e.g., Gong).
  • Comfortable with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and virtual selling environments.
  • Strong digital communication and CRM hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

  • Drive 100% outbound sales through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and virtual networking.
  • Build and manage a qualified pipeline of HR and Talent leaders in small to mid-sized companies.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations and proposals that highlight the ROI of outplacement services.
  • Lead RFP responses and contract negotiations in alignment with pricing and service guidelines.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Managers, SDRs, and Client Partners to ensure seamless service execution.
  • Utilize Salesforce for lead tracking, opportunity management, and reporting.
  • Apply tools like Outreach, SalesForce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Gong to optimize outreach and engagement.
  • Track and analyze engagement data to refine messaging and improve conversion rates.

  • Total Target Compensation (Base salary + Uncapped Commission) range: $130,000–$150,000/year.
  • Commission plan: quota-based performance measures the target incentive of 100% new logo billing upon the percentage of quota attainment.
