About The Position

Wire 3 is hiring a Small & Medium Business (SMB) Manager to drive growth and leadership of our SMB sales efforts across both existing and new Wire 3 markets. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to acquire, retain, and grow business customers while building and leading a high-performing SMB sales team. The SMB Manager will play a critical role in expanding Wire 3’s presence within the business community by establishing strong relationships, identifying new revenue opportunities, and ensuring alignment with broader company growth initiatives. This individual will support both the scaling of established markets and the successful launch of SMB sales efforts in new markets.

  • Experience in telecommunications, technology, or related industries preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute SMB sales strategies across all Wire 3 serviceable areas, including both existing and new markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, community leaders, and strategic partners
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth in the SMB segment
  • Actively work in the field alongside SMB sales representatives—shadowing, coaching, and leading by example while directly selling to business customers
  • Maintain an individual presence in the sales process by contributing to revenue through direct sales efforts
  • Support market launches by establishing early SMB presence and building pipeline in new areas
  • Collaborate with marketing, community development, and events teams to maximize brand visibility and lead generation
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing SMB sales team
  • Lead, coach, and manage SMB sales representatives to achieve and exceed performance targets
  • Establish scalable processes and best practices for SMB sales operations
  • Monitor and manage key performance metrics, pipeline health, and revenue targets
  • Represent Wire 3 at networking events, business associations, and industry functions
