About The Position

To plan, organize, and deliver small group personal training programs, including TRX, to participants in accordance with YMCA goals and objectives. Who Are We? Requirements

  • 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED required
  • Early morning availability
  • Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification or Group Exercise Certification
  • Training and qualifications in the specialized instruction area required
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and teach program skills
  • Obtain and maintain all additional new hire certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, organize and lead specific activities and routines for all participants with various alternatives based on skill level.
  • Lead with enthusiasm and positive motivation in program.
  • Organize and maintain program records, (i.e., attendance record, rosters, etc.)
  • Manage and maintain all equipment.
  • Communicate effectively and timely with program participants.
  • Promote other YMCA programs by handing out brochures, answering questions, or referral to appropriate person.
  • Ensure compliance with all YGBW policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
