About The Position

As a Small Engine/Turf Equipment Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and repairing a variety of small engines, including both 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines, as well as small diesel engines. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our customers' lawn and garden equipment, such as lawn mowers, utility vehicles, and compact tractors, are maintained in optimal condition. In this position, you will be responsible for performing thorough diagnostics and repairs on various types of equipment. You will also be expected to maintain the condition of vehicles, tools, and inventory, ensuring that everything is in working order. Staying current with the latest knowledge of John Deere and competitive products is vital, as is completing any required training to enhance your skills and knowledge. You will need to be proficient in using computer systems for parts lookup and machine diagnostics, and it is essential to follow all safety rules and regulations while performing your work assignments. Additionally, you will be responsible for accurately accounting for the time and materials used during your tasks, and you may be assigned other duties by your supervisor as needed. Dependability and efficiency are key attributes for this role, as our customers rely on timely service to get their machines back in working order.
