About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Small Engine Service Technician to join our team of mechanics in our service department at our Meyer Ace Petoskey North Store. Our service department handles a variety of small to medium equipment repairs from lawn mowers and snow blowers to chain saws and leaf blowers. Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Experience in small engine repair or related field.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Stihl and Husqvarna equipment.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers to Meyer Ace Hardware and determining their needs by asking questions.
• Performing maintenance and repair on outdoor power equipment.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical/electrical issues and performing necessary repairs.
• Communicating with customers regarding services needed and services performed.
