JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the maintenance and repair of commercial landscape vehicles and equipment

Requirements

High school Diploma or GED
One to three years equipment maintenance and repair experience
Valid driver license issued by the state where employed, with a record in good standing
Knowledge of mowing and landscape equipment
Knowledge of small engine and two cycle engine repair
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner
Beginner to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook
Has own tools
Basic Mathematical Skills
Ability to read, write and comprehend English
Frequently required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand and walk
Must be able to see at close vision, distant vision, peripherally, have depth perception and have the ability to adjust focus
Frequent use of hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and seldom lift and/or move up to 50-75 pounds
Frequently required to reach, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, climb and balance

Ability to communicate in Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

Routine maintenance of commercial landscape equipment
Diagnostic troubleshooting and repair
Effectively communicate shop needs/concerns with management personnel.
Abide by company guidelines and safety policies
