Requirements

  • Courtesy towards customers and careful listening are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair and maintain gasoline and battery powered lawn equipment.
  • Obtain and annually renew their service technician certifications with our warranty-level manufacturers (training provided where necessary.)
  • Handle customer interactions for the repair shop. This includes looking up, ordering, and selling parts to customers; answering phone calls from customers looking for parts information and shop inquiries; and checking in equipment that is brought in for repair.
  • Managing the inventory of the parts department. They will order parts as necessary for use in-shop as well as for direct purchase by customers.
  • Update pricing on parts as needed and add new parts to the in-store computer inventory system.
  • Be responsible for the handling of all warranty claims. This includes the accurate collection of information from the customer, and the timely filing of claims with the manufacturer.
