Requirements

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in diagnosing and repairing outdoor power equipment.
  • Previous experience as a technician preferred.
  • Customer Focus: Dedication to providing excellent customer service and clear communication of technical information.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in diagnosing issues and conducting repairs is crucial for optimal equipment performance.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrate adaptability and problem-solving abilities to provide top-notch service.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment (up to 80 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Must have flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair a variety of outdoor power equipment (e.g., lawnmowers, chainsaws, trimmers).
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups.
  • Customer Service Extraordinaire: Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service, addressing inquiries and explaining repair processes.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in outdoor power equipment.
  • Parts Management: Identify replacement part needs and order promptly to complete repairs in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment repairs and parts used.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols during repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
