About The Position
UFG is looking for a Small Business Underwriting Manager to join our team! In this role you will manage a territory averaging between $20 million to $75 million in written premium, while providing meaningful support for Small Business and company initiatives. The SB Underwriting Manager supports underwriters in delivering quality products and services to our customers that fit UFG's Small Business appetite and underwriting vision by offering training, support, quality review audits, and approvals. This role provides a supportive and constructive environment for team members by identifying training needs and development opportunities to assist team members in meeting their individual and collective potential. Additionally, this role actively works to enhance agency relationships by hiring talented team members and successfully matching underwriters with agency partners.
