The Business Banking Small Business RM Serves as the relationship manager and financial advisor to clients with revenue sized at the lower end of the market segment within Business Banking. Introduces a full range of core Business Banking products, differentiated capabilities, and comprehensive solutions to meet client needs and exceed customer service expectations. This role focuses on acquiring new relationships and managing and growing existing client relationships. Our bankers are expected to demonstrate strong risk management acumen, including credit, operational, and compliance risks, to act as the first line of defense in adhering to KeyBank's profitability standards and moderate risk profile. Essential Functions Acts as the primary financial advisor and business partner to clients, serving as the main contact for most client-related matters Drives business growth by deeply understanding client’s cash flow needs, the industries they serve, analyzing business trends, and proactively identifying opportunities. Educates clients on KeyBank’s products and capabilities, providing tailored solutions to support their business needs. Collaborates with retail branches and networks actively to deepen client relationships and develop new prospects, including building a Center of Influence referral network Leads credit processes, manages portfolio risk, assembles cross-functional teams for client needs, and ensures compliance with all policies and ethical standards.
