About The Position

This is an in office role with expectations of being in office five days per week in the locations listed on the requisition. This role is responsible for ensuring a client-centric, integrated approach to Small Business delivery across the segment and client-facing channels. This includes the development and support of Small Business sales tools, client leads, and product marketing. This person will work closely with the leaders in assigned delivery channels to drive an integrated SB client experience, solutions delivery, sales and engagement model execution, ultimately leading business integration engagement and program execution for Small Business Banking. Develops strategic initiatives / roadmap to deliver optimal performance expectations. Partner with assigned channel leaders to understand opportunities to maximize performance, deliver optimal client experience while operating within risk and operational guardrails. Role serves as internal consultant to coordinate execution against high-priority and cross-functional strategic initiatives that involve Small Business Banking, specifically as it relates to client facing delivery channels. Promotes Small Business and influences senior leaders across client-facing channels to include Branch, Premier, Wholesale, and Wealth. Makes decisions, designs process and fully owns the integration of sales effectiveness and client experience as it relates to small business across client-facing channels. Presents to Executive-level leadership all Integration & Delivery projects and ensures questions and resolutions are achieved. Must utilize technology knowledge and critical thinking to solve for complex decisioning for SB Platforms and solutions; must collaborate with IT Experts and understand IT language.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 12+ years of banking sales leadership / strategy experience
  • Strong experience with communications, program / project management client experience, digital and marketing
  • Leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop a direct team of individuals
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to set broad vision and drive execution
  • Innovative problem-solving skills with experience developing solutions for complex business challenges
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to socialize ideas and proposals, influence change, and gain consensus among key stakeholders and senior leaders
  • Ability to work independently and make sound, data-driven business decisions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate adaptability in a highly dynamic environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading small / business banking sales teams
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field of work (e.g., MBA). PMP and/or PgMP
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement, facilitation, and project management methodologies
  • Experience implementing large/complex initiatives across a matrix organization.
  • Experience with financial measurements and metrics
  • Knowledge of business unit’s mission and processes

Responsibilities

  • Leads integration of sales effectiveness and client experience as it relates to small business across client-facing channels.
  • Design and implement communication strategies to enhance connectivity and understanding Small Business Delivery Channels
  • Facilitate cross functional collaboration to align communication efforts to broader business objectives
  • Form strong partnerships with product leaders, enablement and execution teams to ensure alignment to Small Business Banking
  • Form strong partnerships with assigned client-facing channel leadership at all levels, partnering closely with senior leaders and executives in order to achieve Small Business Banking performance objectives
  • Act as a key coordinator between Small Business Banking to facilitate enterprise requests, communications, special program needs
  • Develop, lead and manage cross-functional teams and work stream initiatives
  • Utilize market and industry analysis to inform strategic program development and ensure alignment with trends, client needs, and business strategy
  • Utilize technology knowledge and critical thinking to solve for complex decisioning for SB Platforms and solutions; must collaborate with IT Experts and understand IT language
