We’re seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to support and grow our small business and consumer lending portfolio. This hybrid role combines loan officer responsibilities with loan assistant duties, offering a unique opportunity to build relationships, guide borrowers through the lending process, and ensure operational excellence. Candidates must reside within 30 miles of our Mountain View, Arkansas location or willing to relocate to be considered.

Requirements

• Prior experience in lending, loan processing, or financial services preferred
• Strong understanding of consumer and small business loan products
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in loan origination systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Commitment to community banking values and customer-first service

Responsibilities

• Originate and process small business and consumer loan applications
• Assist customers with loan inquiries, pre-qualification, and documentation
• Analyze creditworthiness and prepare loan packages for underwriting
• Maintain accurate loan files and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely loan closings
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan lifecycle
• Support loan officers with administrative tasks and pipeline management
