Job Description The Small Business Connect Sales Manager oversees a team of Virtual Small Business Connect Specialists who provide comprehensive financial solutions to small businesses with annual revenues up to $2.5 Million through outbound calling activities. This leader is responsible for leading their sales team to effectively drive growth through proactive outbound calling, supporting branch‑based small business clients, and leveraging digital tools to build strong, trusted relationships. Responsibilities include coaching bankers to identify customer needs, recommending appropriate product solutions, and achieving assigned sales, revenue, and growth goals. Manages a sales team responsible for the sale of assigned bank products and services generally for an assigned geographic region or industrial segment. Accountable for sales leadership focused on One Bank strategy and growing market share. The Small Business Connect Sales Manager actively collaborates with branch partners, and internal business lines to generate referral opportunities and refers clients to other U.S. Bancorp partners as additional needs are identified. Partners with key stakeholders to develop, communicate and implement the sales strategies to meet/exceed business objectives. This is a hybrid role operating in a call‑center environment with no in‑person customer interaction. The position requires working three (3) days per week at the assigned call center location.

Requirements

  • Typically a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically three or more years of sales management experience
