Small Business Banking Analyst Internship - Summer 2026
About The Position
Join Axos Bank’s immersive 12-week Summer Internship Program to gain hands-on experience, contribute to enterprise initiatives, and develop professional skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven financial environment. Along with your day-to-day job duties, you will take part in a capstone project, sessions with our business leaders, financial literacy training courses, Corporate Finance Institute trainings, and a volunteer day. Interns choose between one of two sessions. Session 1: May 27 - August 14 Session 2: June 17 - September 4 Small Business Banking Analyst Interns will support the team in deposit account onboarding, client servicing, and operational support. Interns will gain hands-on experience in financial services, client interaction, and internal process management, while developing core banking and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and audit business account onboarding packages for accuracy and completeness
- Monitor and track onboarding workflows using internal systems
- Generate reports on onboarding status, pipeline activity, and client and Relationship Manager engagement metrics
- Participate in business reviews to identify bottlenecks and propose process improvements
