About The Position

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced 12-Passenger Bus Driver to join our team. The Bus Driver will be responsible for safely transporting our ESL students to and from the Islamic Center of Detroit. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule. Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience as a bus driver or in a similar role
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a bus to transport ESL students to and from the Islamic Center of Detroit
• Ensure the safety of all passengers by following all traffic laws and driving defensively
• Maintain a clean and well-maintained bus at all times
• Assist students with getting on and off the bus, ensuring their safety and well-being
• Keep accurate records of daily routes, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Communicate with the Islamic Center of Detroit staff regarding any changes or delays in the schedule
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
