About The Position

The Small and Medium Business Sales Representative is responsible for responding to incoming inquiries from potential customers, qualifying leads, processing orders, and guiding customers through the purchase journey. The role aims to achieve and exceed performance goals and quotas while effectively communicating the organization's offerings and addressing customer needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED) or higher secondary education or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically has 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in inside sales or tele sales.

Responsibilities

  • Develops a basic understanding of the organization's products or services to effectively communicate with potential customers.
  • Engages in conversations with potential customers to understand their pain points and tailor solutions that match their needs.
  • Learns to handle common objections and concerns raised by potential customers, providing clear and persuasive responses.
  • Identifies opportunities to suggest complementary products or services based on customer needs.
  • Collaborates with management and experienced sales representatives to place orders for selected customers/accounts via phone.
  • Monitors order processing to address customer inquiries about delivery and shares sales updates with experienced Sales Reps.
  • Informs customers about organization promotions and upgrades, potentially persuading them to consider extended products or services.
  • Collects feedback from potential customers about their preferences and objections to improve the sales process.
  • Participates in training sessions to improve sales skills, product knowledge, and customer service techniques.
  • Achieves individual and team-based goals related to lead conversion, response time, and other performance metrics.
