About The Position

The Mechanic provides the Company with troubleshooting and preventative/corrective maintenance expertise with regard to the vehicle fleet and assigned equipment.

Requirements

High School or General Education Diploma Required; further education preferred.
1+ years of vehicle maintenance required.
1-3 years of mechanical/electrical preferred.
Must have own tools.

Nice To Haves

Prior work within fast-paced vehicle maintenance shop is a plus.
Prior diagnostic/troubleshooting and Preventative Maintenance is a plus.
Trade or Vocational Certification preferred.
ASC Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Performs regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles.
Updates and maintains the Preventative Maintenance Program (PMP) schedules and manuals timely and accurately.
Documents work performed in a thorough, accurate and timely manner in the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) computer system.
Performs all maintenance tasks in coordination with production activities and schedules.
Ensures all tasks are performed with appropriate safety measures and consistent with generally accepted maintenance shop practices.
Performs observation, diagnosis, maintenance and repair on mechanical, minor electrical and hydraulic systems on light and heavy-duty motorized vehicles and equipment.
Performs all other duties as apparent or as assigned.
