A role on the Capacity Management Team within the Food Supply Chain means being relentlessly focused on how we can drive Product Availability to our stores and guests by increasing throughput and storage capacity across our network. We’re looking for exceptional people who are proactive, creative, independent, innovative, risk-savvy and comfortable working in varying degrees of ambiguity. You will work cross-functionally with experts from across Food and Beverage to support co-creation of solutions to reduce costs, increase storage capacity, improve speed and quality for replenishment activities, as well as balance our current and future Food Supply Chain network demand. You will help scope a broad set of initiatives and ideas to help identify the storage capacity problem, potential impact, and the resources needed to solve; you’ll also be actively engaged in developing solutions alongside experts from across the organization including Field Operations and Inventory Management. As a Slotting Technician in Food Supply Chain, you will be responsible for using and contributing to creating the computer-based tools that will showcase current and future storage capacity constraints. You will also be leveraging those tools to manage the slotting of items and utilize power equipment to move the items within one of our Food Supply Chain Facility and supporting the broader Food Supply Chain network as needed. The position will work across departments to gather data, identify opportunities, and contribute to create sustainable routines to prioritize and implement solutions. This role will provide an ideal opportunity to work within a highly collaborative, cross-functional team. You will support communication and alignment across Food Supply Chain and stores on high profile initiatives to enable progress toward our goals. You will coordinate as a Slotting Technician to align deliverables, resources, and timelines.
