About The Position

The Slots Technician position at Bally's Black Hawk Casino involves providing genuine service to both internal and external guests while ensuring the proper functioning of gaming machines. The technician will be responsible for adjusting and repairing slot machines, replacing worn or defective parts, and maintaining an inventory of surplus monitors and parts. Daily inspections and general maintenance of gaming machines are essential duties, along with programming and repairing electronic displays. The role requires compliance with Colorado Department of Gaming Regulations to ensure all slot machines are operational.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• A Colorado Division of Gaming Support license is required for this position.
• TIPs certification is required.
• Previous money handling and guest service experience preferred.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to exercise initiative and a sense of urgency.
• Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
• Must have an outgoing personality and enjoy dealing with people.
• Strong tactical skills.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all employees and guests.
• Able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Practice Genuine Service for internal and external guests.
• Adjust and repair machines, replacing worn or defective electrical or mechanical parts using hand tools.
• Ensure an adequate amount of surplus monitors and parts are in inventory.
• Test, bench repair, and evaluate slot machine monitors.
• Maintain other casino electronic devices.
• Examine defective machines to determine causes of malfunctions.
• Conduct general maintenance and/or service on all machines and equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections of gaming machines.
• Participate in programming or repair of progressive gaming and other electronic displays.
• Ensure all slot machines are in working order per Colorado Department of Gaming Regulations.
