About The Position

This position typically starts at $20.00 per hour and works a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Team members begin accruing PTO starting on day one, and full ‑ time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days. Responsible for performing advanced slot machine repairs and technical work, including troubleshooting, modifications, and preventative maintenance. Evaluates machines that are not performing to standard and identifies the causes of malfunctions. Inspects all gaming-related equipment for signs of mechanical issues or potential cheating. Works collaboratively with other slot technicians on the shift to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and consistency across all machines.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
Must be 18 years of age.
Must be able to obtain Missouri Gaming License.
Must pass background check and urinalysis drug test.
Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.
Knowledgeable in data entry, read and interpret output from a computer.
Must have a sense of urgency and keep up with fast paced business practices.
Report to work in a neat and clean uniform, with slip resistant shoes.
Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
Must be able to work independently along with a team mentality.
Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push and pull, as well as lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 40 lbs or more.
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time or entire shift.
Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
Is able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must be able to maneuver around Casino floor and office areas, effectively work in high traffic areas and responds to visual and aural cues.
Mathematical abilities including addition and subtraction/accurate record keeping strongly required.
Must have the dexterity to grip and work necessary items (chips, 10 key adding machine, money bags, computers, money, etc.).
Must have a sense of urgency and keep up with fast paced business practices.
Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.

Responsibilities

Install, test and maintains electronic gaming equipment and components, systems, and sub-systems required for continuous and efficient business operations.
Makes required adjustments, repairs and/or replaces such equipment when needed.
Performs duties of Slot Attendant/Host when needed to ensure guest satisfaction and maximum performance of all slot machines on the casino floor.
Must have knowledge of basic electronics.
Role model great Guest Service and teamwork.
Knows the reward programs for our guests, including the Caesars Rewards program and service recoveries.
Understands department procedures, Internal Controls, and instructs/advises peers on the correct procedures.
Have an in-depth knowledge of the Slot Equipment.
Identification of Slot Equipment on the casino floor by manufacturer and model.
Identification of all components in the slot machine and where to find a replacement for worn equipment.
Know the difference between the types of programs and how to read slot glass.
Be able to identify and repair Table Games equipment maintained by Slot Performance.
Know how to operate power tools and other shop equipment safely and correctly.
Know how SDS works and be able to identify and repair all its parts components.
Be able to troubleshoot and repair common problems and the new or uncommon problems that occur within the slot machines and bill validators, bill breakers, table equipment, and signs on the casino floor.
Know how to generate and use daily SDS reports including other advanced reports (i.e., M-lists, C-lists, etc.).
Know how to set up and troubleshoot problems on Mikohn and CDS progressive systems.
Have a working knowledge of Shuffle master equipment, where spare machines and parts are stored, and how to troubleshoot and repair problems.
Know how to troubleshoot an SDS line problem using SDS line maps and tester.
Have a working knowledge of EMAIL, WORD, EXCEL, and ETERM.
Know the basics of troubleshooting electronic circuit boards.
Know how to use a Kobetron unit.
