About The Position

The position involves dealing with high-volume customer interactions while maintaining an upbeat and cheerful demeanor. The individual will be responsible for repairing and maintaining electrical and mechanical devices both on and off the Casino Floor. This includes assisting in the loading and unloading of slot machines and signs during deliveries, performing slot machine verification, audits, and tests, and ensuring that all slot machines are operational during shifts. The role requires troubleshooting, installing, and operating various slot systems, maintaining the appearance and performance of machines, and circulating the casino floor to monitor machines in need of repair. The position also involves adhering to regulatory guidelines and handling customer complaints while maintaining positive guest relationships. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including the ability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Two-year Electronic Degree preferred or equivalent experience in electrical maintenance.
  • Minimum of three years slot experience required.
  • Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware/software.
  • Knowledge of gaming laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in loading and unloading slot machines and signs during deliveries.
  • Perform slot machine verification, audits, and tests as needed.
  • Ensure all slot machines are operational during shifts.
  • Complete assigned projects and work assignments professionally and timely.
  • Troubleshoot, install, and operate slot accounting systems and maintenance.
  • Maintain the appearance and performance of slot machines.
  • Circulate the casino floor to monitor machines needing repair.
  • Attend training as designated by management.
  • Assist with install and conversion projects for slot machines and signage.
  • Test machines for proper functioning.
  • Perform maintenance and complex repairs using shop tools.
  • Maintain proper gaming logs to comply with regulations.
  • Understand and utilize suspicious activity reports when necessary.
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies ethically.
  • Handle routine customer complaints and incidents appropriately.
  • Work a flexible schedule as required by business operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Benefits

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a 1055 Slot/Cardroom/Pari-Mutuel Individual Combo License.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Three years of tax returns required.
