About The Position

Slot Technician is responsible for the preventative maintenance, maintenance and repair of Electronic Gaming Devices (slot machines) and other electric and electronic equipment as may be required.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED or two or more years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s), if any
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and or repair Electronic Gaming Devices or EGMs and associated equipment as needed including programming of EGMs with processor boards
  • Possess a basic knowledge of electricity and or electronics & electronic components and the associated tools that are required to work on such devices, IE, multi meter, wire strippers, soldering iron, etc.
  • Install, relocate and remove when required, EGMs and associated equipment
  • Perform Preventative maintenance on EGMs and associated equipment as required
  • Assist when required, with the resolution of attendant calls on the casino floor
  • Work effectively with other employees, vendors, guests and other visitors
  • Promote positive guest relations
