About The Position
As a Slot Technician I at Mountaineer Park Inc, you will be responsible for performing all necessary repairs to Slot/VLT machines, change machines, signs, and Slot/VLT monitoring equipment. This role involves rebuilding and repairing all Slot/VLT parts, tools, and related equipment. You will promote and maintain the utmost integrity and provide high-quality customer service to all patrons and employees of Mountaineer Casino. Your primary duties will include troubleshooting and repairing any Slot/VLT machine and related equipment, including all circuit boards, without assistance. You will also be responsible for the initial set-up and check-out of new slot machines, ensuring they are in proper working condition. In addition to repairs, you will perform floor repair and preventative maintenance of all slot machines, which includes cleaning machines and conducting overhauls. Observing all policies and procedures is crucial, as is maintaining the integrity of the slot machine equipment and securing all company assets and property at all times. You will be responsible for the security of keys, radios, tools, and gaming-related licenses and player tracking cards from check-in to check-out. Completing all regulatory and company operational logs/forms correctly, such as meal books and repair logs, is also part of your responsibilities. You will work closely with the Slot Tech Manager, Slot Shift Managers, Representatives, and Supervisors to ensure that slot machines, change machines, and all related equipment are in proper working order and that all customer needs are satisfied. Completing slot machine repair slips and related repair logs, tagging repairable parts, and advising the Slot Tech Manager in developing and teaching advanced electronic repairs are also key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will assist patrons by explaining club membership, application forms, and the benefits of the card at the slot machine, as well as assisting other floor personnel when advanced troubleshooting skills are required. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
